Choosing the Right Bell Tent Size
Every party is different, which is why we have different Bell Tent sizes available depending on your number of guests and the space available in your backyard.
⛺ 4m Bell Tent
Our 4m Bell Tent is our smallest option and is perfect for more intimate sleepovers or homes with smaller backyards.
Sleeps up to 5 children.
It’s a gorgeous option for a child who wants to invite a few close friends rather than having a large sleepover.
⛺ 5m Bell Tent
Need a little more room?
Our 5m Bell Tent can accommodate up to 8 beds, making it a fantastic choice for medium-sized birthday sleepovers.
You’ll need approximately 6 metres in diameter of flat, grassed space so that the tent can be safely erected and secured.
⛺ 6m Bell Tent
For the ultimate backyard sleepover, our 6m Bell Tent is the big one!
It can accommodate up to 12 beds, making it ideal for larger birthday parties and groups.
Because of its size, you’ll need a minimum 7m x 7m flat, grassed area so we have enough room to safely secure the tent.

What Is Included in a Slumber Wonderland Bell Tent?
One of the best parts of booking a Bell Tent party is seeing the transformation!
Our Bell Tent sleepovers include beautiful Boho styling along with the beds, linen, lighting and décor needed to turn the tent into a gorgeous sleepover space.
We take care of setting everything up before your celebration and return afterwards to pack it all away.
That means no wrestling with tent poles, blowing up a dozen mattresses or trying to recreate something you’ve seen on Pinterest the night before the party!
How Much Space Do I Need?
This is one of the most important things to check before booking.
Bell Tents need to be erected on a flat, grassed area so they can be properly pegged and secured.
They cannot be installed on hard surfaces such as concrete or decking.
You also need to consider what’s above the tent. Bell Tents are approximately 2–3 metres tall, so they can’t be erected underneath a carport, roof or low shade structure.
Before setup day, make sure the area is clear of outdoor furniture, toys and anything else that may get in the way.
What Should the Kids Bring?
Although we provide the styled sleepover setup, there are still a few personal items each guest should bring.
We recommend asking everyone to bring:
• A pillow
• Pyjamas
• Toothbrush and toiletries
• Comfortable clothes for the following morning
• Any personal medications or necessities
And, of course, don’t forget their favourite teddy or comfort item if they still like to sleep with one!
What About the Weather?
We always keep an eye on the weather when Bell Tent parties are approaching.
Safety comes first.
If we determine that a Bell Tent cannot be safely erected because of adverse weather conditions, we’ll work with you regarding the options available for your booking.
Once the tent is erected, parents should also keep an eye on ropes and pegs during windy or wet conditions to ensure everything remains properly secured.
It’s one of the reasons we recommend booking Bell Tent parties during the warmer months, although, as every Illawarra local knows, the weather sometimes likes to keep us guessing!
